For a great experience, you need to know that when you make return visits, your history is well understood and your care plan is strategic and thorough.

The Procedure

At Finer Smiles® Laser Dentistry, your health is paramount, and we'll pay attention to the finer details. Here is the process we take you through on your first visit:
  • Details – if possible, you should be 15 minutes early for your first-time visit, to allow time for any form filling and any other administration needs.
  • Full examination — no matter what ailment you are trying to overcome, Finer Smiles® Laser Dentistry's standard procedure is a full examination.
  • Deep cleaning — next we'll do a full professional clean so that our assessment won't be hindered by any excess plaque to give us a clearer view.
  • X-rays — we will do a minimum of two X-rays, to capture any issues that might not be visible to the naked eye, such as cavities or wisdom teeth.
  • Gum health check — our dental practitioners will do an assessment of bone levels around the teeth to ensure that your tooth's stability is upheld.
  • Individual tooth assessment — one by one, we'll check your teeth for any existing restorations, wear from brushing, erosion from acids or grinding.
  • Finishing for a fresh smile — our dental practitioners will finish your visit by applying fluoride to ensure your teeth remain strong for years to come.

Payment Options

To manage your budget, it can be important to make sure that your practitioner accommodates a variance of payment options.
Finer Smiles® Laser Dentistry will do just that:
  • Payment on the day of the appointment, with cash, credit card or EFTPOS.
  • All private dental insurance is accepted and can be claimed on the spot with the HICAPS system.
  • In special circumstances, finance options can be arranged.
